"A company whose aims obviously include meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to professionality, amply reflected in the well-considered direction and highly absorbing performances."
Peter Brown  -ActDrop

About Us

We are a collective of artists that work with physical performance practices and live music to explore the writing of Léa Richard. Creatively, we explore the territories between the conscious and the subconscious, drawing upon a diverse range of skills, influences and cultural backgrounds to create theatre that is physical, challenging, and contemporary.

The poetic of the text finds its realisation in the physical expression, influenced by the works of major companies such as Philippe Genty and DV8.

Decoupage Collective consists of two Strands. The main company focused on the staging of new writing, and the Decoupage Lab focuses on Embodied Research into Actor training. Although following two different paths the two teams are very fluid and greatly inform each others work. Members of the Decoupage Collective often participate in both projects.
