" A passionate moment of contemporary theatre"
"Every single day, he writes to her from his cell.
She never answers. She never will.
Raw bodies give voice to the desperate words of this prisoner
as the lines between his realities begin to blur
and his sanity slips away.
She never answers. She never will."
Lost Game is the adaption of Léa Richard's original novel Peine Perdue.
Lost Game tells the story of a prisoner, embodied by four actors, who longs for the woman he loves to come to him. Through the story we see how their abusive relationship unfolds. The company express the character’s interior conflicts by having 4 performers embodying the same role, demonstrating the character's complex schizophrenic tendencies by depicting the subconscious of the prisoner, playing between reality and illusion.
